Agorà - Terms of use

EUMANS! is a Pan-European movement of popular and non-violent initiatives which has amongst its objectives; protection of human rights and fundamental liberties, the achievement of the rule of law and democracy, as well as ecosystem safeguarding and sustainable development.

EUMANS! mission and objectives are defined in the Statute of the EUMANS! (European) Association, which anyone can apply to and join.

The Activation Agreement, on the other hand, is an instrument established in the Statute of the EUMANS! to define and facilitate the development, collaboration and cooperation between activists. It is therefore not necessary to be a member of EUMANS! to sign the Activation Agreement.

In particular the Activation Agreement concerns:
  • Elaboration and activation of initiatives
  • Functions, rights and responsibilities of activists
  • Economic sustainability
  • Tools available for activists
The Activation Pact is revised according to the forms provided for in the Statute of the EUMANS!, through consultation phases with activists.

Political objectives defined in the Statute are achieved through the activation of participatory democracy instruments, the civil disobedience and the direct action based on non-violent methods.
The initiatives can be activated and dismissed at a local, national and international level and aim to realise effective reforms and not to merely enunciate potential protests.

How to activate oneself for an initiative?
Once the Activation Agreement is signed, EUMANS! activists can:
  • Activate themselves for existing initiatives
  • Propose, coordinate or make the activation of new initiatives easier
  • Propose partecipative forms to initiatives coordinated and promoted by other platforms or movements
How to propose an initiative?
Every activist who signs the EUMANS! Activation Agreement has the possibility to take part in the development of existing initiatives and in the activation of new initiatives.
Each activist can propose initiatives that are compatible with EUMANS! statutory objectives, and assumes the responsibility to cooperate with others activists and to seek forms of assistance and support for their proposal even outside of EUMANS!

The structuring of the roles and procedures in EUMANS! is based on experience gained step-by-step by activists together during ongoing initiatives. In addition to the roles established in the Statute (President, Coordinator, Administrator, the Assembly of members, the Council for Participatory Democracy), the Activation Agreement provides for and aims to facilitate the relationship between them:

Whoever has signed the Activation Agreement is an activist. Activists are informed about the ongoing initiatives and the possibilities of mobilisation, and take on operational roles to organise and coordinate the local, national and international network at the service of the initiatives.

Activists are committed to promoting awareness and visibility of the EUMANS! Movement, inviting other European citizens to meetings, mobilisations and assemblies. The Activists are regularly and transparently informed about the political and organisational aspects of the initiatives.

Each activist can take on the role of “activator” of specific initiatives, agreeing with the President and the Coordinator the commitment to coordinate an initiative from its conception to its execution, with the responsibility of strengthening the network of activists and supporters and fostering the process of synergy of the competences of other activists and interaction with other movements and organisations.

By signing the Activation Agreement, activists commit themselves to creating an environment of development and collaboration based on individual responsibility and the enhancement of personal skills and experiences.

In particular, on the platform every activist is aware that EUMANS! reserves the right to remove without prior notice comments that are offensive, vulgar, blasphemous, unnecessary, highly provocative or contain advertisement content.

Furthermore, EUMANS! is in no way responsible for the content of comments posted by activists on and its channels: the latter, therefore, take full responsibility.

EUMANS! therefore reserves the right to remove at its sole discretion any comments that contain the following content:
  • Illegal, defamatory, racist or libellous
  • Incitements to hatred or violence
  • Detrimental to people, institutions or religions
  • Harmful to the privacy of others
  • May cause harm to minors
  • Damaging to trademarks, patents and copyrighted content
  • Personal data of third parties
  • Misuse the medium to promote or advertise commercial activities.

EUMANS! aims to provide academic and scientific support to each initiative and to help evaluate, develop and strengthen the impact of each initiative on the basis of the scientific method.

Relations with Parliament, Local Administrators and Institutional Citizens Representatives
EUMANS! actively seeks dialogue with all elected citizens representatives in institutions at the international, national and local level, regardless of their party or ideology.

Relations with other organizations and their members
EUMANS! welcomes and encourages the exchange of policy formulation and networking initiatives with other movements and organisations, and participates in European coalitions and networks whose objectives include democracy, promotion of the rule of law and of the sustainable development targets. EUMANS! activists are encouraged to take part in these networks.

The website provides a registration system through which the Activation Agreement is signed. The site is the public and transparent space in which to channel policy development, knowledge and mobilisation on current and proposed initiatives.
Virtual public assemblies are central to EUMANS! political debate. The meetings are recorded and accessible on the website and on the EUMANS! youtube channel.
The activation materials prepared for the initiatives are processed by the activists themselves and made available through shared archives and folders.
The political and technological tools prepared on the website and the activation of third-party tools (telegrams, social media, other tools) are instrumental to the organisation and management of activities.

Economic sustainability is one of the basic criteria to activate new initiatives. Each EUMANS! activist commits to promoting initiatives and raising funds by means of:
  • Applications to EUMANS! membership
  • Donations for individual initiatives on the website
  • Identification of institutional funding projects to submit to the President and the Coordinator in order to be evaluated according to their coherence with the EUMANS! mission!
The updated report of donations received and spending will be published on the EUMANS! website every three months and at the end of each year of membership.

I have been a radical militant since 1995 and have always worked hard to provide original contributions to the radical political initiative, sometimes succeeding, such as with the first interactive radical web TV in 2010, on the occasion of the election campaign for Emma Bonino, President of the Lazio Region. I believe in nonviolence and civil disobedience, I love the law and the strength and guarantees of the rule of law, I cultivate the European federalist dream, I am passionate about the challenges for a new, interactive and militant political communication.
