+3 Million in the European Parliament Budget for Information on Participatory Democracy - First win for EU citizens

On the 20th of October, the European Parliament Plenary approved an amendment to the European Parliament Budget that indicates an important effort to raise awareness on participatory democracy instruments available for EU Citizens. Thanks to the work of the Italian MEP Elisabellta Gualmini (S&D), 3 million euros will be included in the European Parliament budget in 2022 under the "Rights and Values" program. 

End of Life Treatments: letter to the European Commission signed by Sophie In't'veld and Marco Cappato

On the 22nd of July the Dutch MEP Sophie In't'veld (D66 - Renew Europe) sent a letter addressing the European Commissioner for Health Kyriakides on issues regarding end of life treatments. The letter was signed also by Marco Cappato, President of Eumans and Treasurer of Associazione Luca Coscioni in Italy.

The proposal presented by the European Commission with the FIT FOR 55 package represents an important step towards the goal of the StopGlobalWarming.eu campaign, launched two years ago by EUMANS through the activation of the European Citizens' Initiative: the implementation of a European minimum price on CO2 emissions, gradually destined to increase and to be adopted also at a global level, to stem climate change.
